It's Storytime

Right, I've got a bit of a backlog of projects I need to go through and post up, but in the meantime, here's something I just finished. These are possible illustrations for a story I've just written.

Brighton Swimming Club

This is a piece I have made for an upcoming exhibition at the Brighton Fishing Museum, featuring the archives of the Brighton Swimming Club. I was given the year 1870, and upon doing some research, I found a wealth of photo collage from that era, mostly done by bored housewives with little else to do to pass the time. Most of them were completely nuts, so I tried to keep a bit of that spirit in my work.
