Mixtape Time!

I made six of these CDs of piratical poems for a big mixtape swap session with my class. The only parameters we were given was that there had to be a theme linking the songs and we had to have an A3 poster, hence the flag. The tracklisting, which is a bit illegible on the cover, is:

Over easter I have to send my tutor, the wonderful Paul Burgess, a postcard every week. I'm not going anywhere special so I've decided to showcase some of the finer points of my little corner of Lewisham.

Batch Production Book Project

A recent project of ours was to create a run of five of the same book, with a little difference in customisation between them. I bound several copies of a story I've just written called 'Under the Banner of the Shoe', which is, in short, about a wizard and a girl who works in Boots. Maybe I'll put a snippet of it up for your cranial pleasures.

Summer Lovin'

Nothing says Happy New Year like drawings I've only just scanned in from my summer sketchbook! 

Egyptians and Aztecs and Vikings, oh my!

This collection of exotic spacewear is from a project entitled 'Repetition'. I decided to select one event from history and repeat it across multiple alternate realities - the moon landing was an obvious choice because it's so iconic. To create these other universes, I thought it might be fun to see how a selection of ancient societies might have looked if their cultures had survived to land on the moon, and what their reasons for the journey would be. I kept the eagle on the emblem and the eleven after the mission title as a constant to try and tie it all together.
